Do You Drive It Much?

Maybe I DO and maybe I DO! I was asked today how much I drive my GTO. At the time, I was parked at a local store, went in for a few things. So I drive it on errands around town, is that enough? I also drive it to work on occasion. Not every day, but just enough so it's not boring - it's a special occasion. Gotta keep the transmission parts happy. It helps if the car moves every week or two. Makes me wonder - if I didn't drive it much, I should sell it. Muscle cars deserve to be driven, after all. So I will drive it, as much as I can afford, as much as I dare. Do you drive your classic GTO enough?

I drive it as much as I can, even if it is just around the block. Nothing more in powering then a Muscle Car! I wonder if enjoying a car so much is one of the seven sins? If so I will grin & take the heat in the end, see ya all there...I'm taking my Pontiac with me too.

About that LeMans on the Main Page "Zero Bids"...I can't beleave somebody did that to a LeMans out there & expected to sell it? It's like West Coast meets the Hillbilly GTO. Don't get me wrong about the Hillbilly GTO cause I'd love to "Baja" that Goat down a deserted dirt road!

I have a friend from high school who we joke all the time that we will be the next Thelma & Louise. Remember that show ended badly, the T Bird went off the cliff into the Grand Canyon. So I told her we would put a rocket engine in my 1972 LeMans like in the 1979 Burt Reynold's movie "Hooper" & blast over it. Ah those crazy car dreams! Hooper used a 1979 Firebird with a rocket engine to jump a river at the end of the movie. Seen the movie when I was 14 & nevr got over it or Pontiac's. signed...Thelma
